ABOUT THEEWORD
At theEword, we’re creating a world where everyone can find their place. We help property companies increase leads, fill beds, generate footfall and sell homes, with the vision to be the #1 global digital strategy agency for property companies.
We do this by using marketing intelligence and audience insights to deliver high-performing digital marketing strategies.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
As an SEO Manager, you will work closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Managers and Digital Marketing Managers to develop and implement high-impact SEO strategies for our clients. A strong technical knowledge of SEO is essential, alongside expertise in all areas of SEO, especially link building (Digital PR).
In this role, you will take ownership of all aspects of SEO, including technical audits, content optimisation, keyword research, and link-building campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content writers, and marketing specialists, to ensure SEO is seamlessly integrated into all aspects of digital campaigns. Your ability to analyse data, spot trends, and make data-driven recommendations will be crucial in helping our clients achieve sustainable growth in search rankings.
Additionally, you will be responsible for staying ahead of the ever-evolving search landscape, proactively identifying new opportunities, and ensuring our strategies align with industry best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering outstanding SEO results.
This role requires a proactive individual who can analyse, strategise, and execute campaigns that drive measurable results. You will also play a key role in mentoring and guiding junior team members, sharing your expertise, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the agency.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
We want to get the best out of our team; we have a sensible hybrid working and flexitime policy that allows you to be in an office when you want, but work remotely when it’s more productive. You can expect to be in the office at least 2 days a month and when required for client face-to-face meetings.
We’re a supportive growing team, and we’re big on training and self-improvement. We have an annual salary increase scheme (up to 7% each year), an annual holiday purchase scheme, your birthday off and an extra day of Annual Leave for each year served.
We enjoy quarterly social events, but we don’t enforce socialising. We respect our team’s work-life balance.
For our clients, the big difference is our approach to strategy. We run discovery and strategy creation workshops, we create strategy playbooks that align with our client’s goals then we adjust and optimise based on real-world data. Our campaigns perform better because we dig deep into our clients’ businesses and their customers, so we understand the buying cycle and our client’s customers’ pain points.
We work with clients who value the way we work, not being afraid of experimenting with new ideas and tactics to get the best results, and who see us as an extension of their team.
