Website & SEO Manager – ECPI University

Location: Virginia Beach, VA (In-Person) | Full-Time

Since 1966, ECPI University has helped students launch successful careers through hands-on, career-focused education. Our website, ecpi.edu, is the front door for prospective students. We’re seeking a Website & SEO Manager to own its strategy, performance, and evolution.

Role Overview

You’ll manage ecpi.edu end-to-end: optimizing SEO, content, and user experience while guiding the future of our web platform. This role blends technical management, digital marketing strategy, and innovation that drives growth and delivers a best-in-class experience for prospective students.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management, optimization, and strategy for ecpi.edu.
• Implement SEO best practices, including technical SEO and optimization for AI-generated search results.
• Oversee site architecture, usability, and performance, ensuring mobile-first, accessible design.
• Manage current hosting (Pantheon/Drupal) and help evaluate future platform transitions.
• Partner with marketing and IT to integrate the site with CRM systems (Reach, built on Dynamics).
• Monitor analytics, traffic, and conversions to drive measurable improvements.
• Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, and web best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in website management, SEO, or digital marketing.
• Expertise with Drupal, Pantheon, or similar CMS/hosting environments.
• Strong technical SEO and content optimization skills.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, ideally Dynamics CRM.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and responsive design.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
• Strong project management and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of how to leverage AI development tools to accelerate web development speed and improve code quality.
