Position Overview

Our client is seeking a passionate and results-oriented SEO Strategist to lead strategic search engine optimization initiatives for our clients. In this pivotal role, you'll define, execute, and oversee comprehensive SEO strategies—including technical SEO, content optimization, strategic link building, analytics, and reporting—to significantly boost organic visibility, traffic, and conversions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute SEO Strategy:

    • Lead end-to-end SEO strategies tailored to client objectives, including technical, content, and off-page SEO.

    • Define clear objectives, KPIs, and roadmaps aligned with broader digital marketing goals.

  • Technical SEO Leadership:

    • Conduct comprehensive website audits, ensuring optimal site structure, indexing, page speed, and mobile performance.

    • Stay current with algorithm changes and proactively address potential impacts.

  • Content & On-Page Optimization:

    • Guide content creation grounded in thorough keyword and intent analysis.

    • Provide detailed content briefs and optimization recommendations that drive user engagement and rankings.

  • Strategic Link Building & Digital PR:

    • Develop ethical, high-quality backlink strategies to enhance client site authority.

    • Oversee targeted outreach, partnerships, and promotional campaigns to generate impactful links.

  • Analytics, Tracking & Reporting:

    • Manage analytics platforms (GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.) to accurately track and analyze SEO performance.

    • Translate data into actionable insights, continually optimizing strategies to improve ROI.

    • Create insightful, easy-to-understand performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Project Management:

    • Prioritize projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery of impactful initiatives.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with development, design, and content teams to execute SEO best practices.

  • Innovation & Continuous Learning:

    • Regularly explore and implement new SEO methodologies and tools.

    • Maintain industry leadership by adapting strategies quickly to changes in search technology and consumer behavior.

  • Client Communication & Relationship Management:

    • Act as a trusted advisor and senior contact for SEO clients, clearly articulating strategies, results, and value.

    • Educate clients transparently about SEO processes and performance, managing expectations effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • SEO Expertise: 5+ years of progressive SEO experience, including 2+ years in a senior strategic role with proven results in organic growth.

  • Technical Mastery: Deep technical SEO knowledge, proficiency in website architecture, HTML/CSS, structured data, and site optimization.

  • Content Excellence: Strong skills in keyword research, intent-based optimization, and crafting SEO-friendly content strategies.

  • Link Building Skills: Proven success developing ethical, effective off-page SEO campaigns.

  • Analytical Strength: Expertise in Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz), with a data-driven decision-making mindset.

  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated capability in mentoring teams, managing complex projects, and coordinating cross-functionally. While initially you won’t be managing any direct team members, as the department grows, our ideal candidate would be able to help us build this department. We want an individual who can grow with us.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to simplify complex SEO concepts for diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive stakeholders.

  • Adaptability: Agile learner who thrives on adapting quickly to industry changes and implementing innovative strategies.

  • Results-Oriented: Proven ability to deliver measurable, meaningful results and clearly communicate the impact of SEO efforts on business KPIs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Google Analytics certification or similar credentials.

  • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (Python, SQL) for SEO processes.
