Overall Role
We are seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist to develop and execute strategies that enhance our website’s visibility, drive organic traffic, and boost conversions. This role is pivotal in ensuring our digital presence aligns with our brand goals and business priorities.
Main Duties and Tasks
- Strategic Planning: Design and implement tailored SEO strategies in alignment with brand objectives and business goals.
- Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and development.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and internal linking to improve search engine rankings.
- Technical SEO: Collaborate with developers to address technical aspects such as site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.
- Content Collaboration: Work closely with the content team to produce high-quality, SEO-friendly materials that resonate with target audiences.
- Customer Journey Support: Partner with content marketing and design teams to create relevant content for every stage of the customer’s digital journey.
- Link-Building: Develop and execute strategies to enhance domain authority through effective link-building practices.
- Performance Monitoring: Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and industry-standard SEO software to track website performance, providing actionable insights through regular reporting.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and emerging tools to maintain a competitive edge.
- Recommendations: Suggest changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Cross-Channel Support: Leverage SEO skills and findings to support and offer advice to other Evolution channels and partners.
- Marketing Support: Contribute to the marketing plan and support new product launches with SEO strategies.
- SEO Best Practices: Develop and implement ongoing SEO best practices for websites to ensure sustained performance.
Abilities, Experience & Skills
- Experience: Proven track record in an SEO-focused role, preferably within a D2C environment.
- Comprehensive Knowledge: Ability to manage the entire SEO cycle, including technical and non-technical aspects.
- Proficiency in Tools: Expertise in industry-standard SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google Analytics.
- Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Testing Familiarity: Experience with A/B testing and other content testing methodologies.
- Platform Experience: Familiarity with the Shopify platform is a plus.
- Agency Collaboration: Experience working with and leading external agencies.
- AI Tools: Proficiency with AI tools like Jasper, ChatGPT, or Copy.ai to streamline SEO tasks.
- Multilingual Capability: While multilingual proficiency is not required, confidence in applying SEO skills across multiple European platforms is essential.
