JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our Field Marketing Amdaris - Insight Joint Team.

The Marketing team serves as the company’s face, promoting and supporting the business strategy through a coordinated communications approach. Marketing teammates develop critical connections with both clients and vendor partners, with a view to creating long -lasting relationships.  The Marketing team also plays a key role in defining compelling value propositions, as well as executing promotional activity, in order to generate brand awareness and drive demand for Insight’s solutions and services.

 

Skills we are looking for:
  1. Analytical Mindset: The ability to analyse data, such as website traffic, keyword rankings, and user behaviour, to identify areas for improvement and develop effective SEO strategies.

  2. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Understanding technical aspects like page speed, rendering, and schema markup is crucial.

  3. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

  4. Adaptability: The SEO landscape is constantly changing with algorithm updates and new trends. An SEO specialist must be able to adapt quickly to these changes.

  5. Curiosity and Continuous Learning: A genuine interest in staying updated with the latest SEO trends, techniques, and best practices. This includes a willingness to learn and experiment with new strategies.

  6. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: The ability to think creatively and critically to solve unique challenges that each website presents.

  7. Project Management Skills: Effective planning, executing, and managing SEO projects to achieve objectives within deadlines. This includes task management, time management, and risk management.

  8. Research Skills: Conducting thorough research on keywords, competitors, and industry trends to inform SEO strategies[2].

  9. Content Creation and Optimization: Understanding how to create and optimize content for both search engines and users. This includes writing compelling meta descriptions, title tags, and ensuring content relevance.

  10. Data Management: Proficiency in using spreadsheet software like Excel to manage and analyse data, and the ability to visualize data with charts and graphs.

Google/Adobe Analytics: For tracking and analysing website traffic and user behaviour.

Google Search Console: To monitor website performance in Google Search and identify issues.

Ahrefs: For comprehensive SEO analysis, including backlink tracking, keyword research, and competitor analysis.

SEMrush: A versatile tool for keyword research, site audits, and tracking SEO performance.

Moz: Known for its keyword explorer, link analysis, and on-page optimization features.

Screaming Frog SEO Spider: For crawling websites to identify technical SEO issues like broken links and duplicate content.

Brightedge/Similar SEO Tools: We utilise this in-hosue right now so this would be beneficial

Yoast SEO: A popular WordPress plugin for on-page SEO optimization.

Google PageSpeed Insights: To analyse and improve website speed and performance.

Ubersuggest: For keyword research, content ideas, and competitive analysis.

Majestic: Focuses on backlink analysis and site explorer features.
