Description

This role is about:

The SEO Manager role is focused entirely on improving the organic presence and performance of the payabl. domain(s). The SEO Manager will be responsible for developing and optimizing SEO-written articles, conducting in-depth keyword research, collaborating with web developers, digital marketers, and driving long-term SEO growth. They will be instrumental in refining SEO strategies and ensuring the website remains competitive in search engine rankings.


You will:

  • Develop, execute, and own payabl.'s SEO strategy to drive organic traffic and organic lead generation.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research (BoFu, MoFu, ToFu) and competitor analysis to identify content pillars, growth opportunities, and gaps for both localized and ENG versions of the website.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of SEO-written content in collaboration with content writers, ensuring proper keyword usage, article structure, linking, and readability.
  • Create and execute a link-building strategy to increase domain authority and credibility, including digital PR initiatives.
  • Perform recurring SEO audits and implement best practices to enhance website performance and optimize search engine visibility.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and others as necessary.
  • Build dashboards and reports (using tools like Google Data Studio/Tableau) to track SEO performance and refine strategies based on results.
  • Stay updated on SEO algorithm changes, industry trends, and best practices to continuously refine SEO strategies and ensure the website stays competitive.
  • Collaborate with content marketing, PR, and web development teams to implement SEO optimizations and digital PR for link-building and improved rankings.
  • Provide technical SEO guidance to web developers to optimize website code, page speed, and content/page errors, ensuring all SEO requirements are met in website architecture and design.
  • Track SEO OKRs to align with long-term growth goals and ensure performance targets are being met.


What we need:

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in a B2B fintech, SaaS, or tech-driven company.
  • Deep expertise in on-pagetechnical SEO, content strategy, and off-page/link-building techniques.
  • Strong experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Data Studio and Tableau.
  • Experience with organic B2B lead generation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with web developers, content teams, and marketing teams to implement SEO strategies.
  • Understanding of the fintech industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results without constant supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with experience using tools to track rankings, identify trends, and optimize website performance.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Strapi, WordPress) and understanding of technical writing and keyword optimization in documentation.
  • Deep knowledge of website coding structure and optimisations i.e. schema markups implementation.
  • Familiarity with digital PR and basic knowledge of link-building strategies.
  • Ability to build dashboards and reports from scratch to track and report SEO progress.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and strategies, including on-page and off-page optimizationtechnical SEO, and competitor analysis.
