The Opportunity

This is a senior, hands-on SEO role with real ownership.

As SEO Manager, you’ll lead strategy across a portfolio of clients while staying close to the work—guiding technical optimisation, content direction, and performance delivery. You’ll play a key role in shaping how SEO (and GEO) evolves within the agency, while mentoring a growing team.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across organic content, technical SEO, and broader digital strategy.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Delivery

  • Build and execute end-to-end SEO strategies aligned to client objectives.
  • Lead technical SEO, content strategy, and off-page activity across accounts
  • Translate data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Continuously refine performance through testing, analysis, and iteration

Technical & Innovation

  • Oversee site architecture, indexing, crawlability, and performance improvements
  • Stay ahead of developments in technical SEO, AI, and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)
  • Ensure content is structured for both search engines and AI-driven discovery

Client Leadership

  • Act as a senior point of contact for SEO across key accounts
  • Communicate strategy, progress, and results clearly and confidently
  • Manage expectations and build trusted client relationships

Team & Operations

  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Improve internal processes and workflows
  • Contribute to team planning, resourcing, and performance discussions

What You Bring

  • ~5+ years’ experience in SEO, ideally agency-side
  • Strong technical SEO capability (site structure, speed, indexing, etc.)
  • Experience building and executing full-funnel SEO strategies
  • Confidence working with analytics tools and translating data into insight
  • Experience with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex concepts
  • Leadership capability, with experience mentoring or guiding others
