SEO Analyst

Position Summary: 

The Junior Digital Marketing Analyst - SEO will play a crucial role in supporting our SEO Analyst, Account Management, and PPC teams by managing and executing process-specific tasks. This position is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of SEO, PPC, and digital marketing who is looking to grow their expertise and career within the field. While this role is primarily SEO-specific, they will also assist with PPC-related process-specific tasks on an as-needed basis. This multifaceted, agile role will ensure the smooth execution of routine SEO activities, aid in account management & client setup efforts, and support PPC initiatives, enabling senior team members to focus on strategic and consultative efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the team with digital marketing specific setup tasks (Google Search Console, GMB, Listings, Conversion tracking, Account Analytics, PPC account setup tasks, etc.)
• Ensure client-side digital marketing setup checklists are handled accurately
• Curate, edit, and post SEO optimized content on a predetermined schedule
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices
• Help maintain accurate records of client interactions and project progress
• Support PPC campaigns as needed as it relates to specific setup tasks
• Accurately input client information into client tracking platforms, ensuring all data is up-to-date
• Help measure and report on campaign performance, including key metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI
• Collaborate with the PPC team to ensure alignment between SEO and PPC strategies
• Assist in keyword research for both SEO and PPC purposes
• Help identify opportunities for integrated search marketing campaigns

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing SEO campaigns
• Basic understanding of SEO/PPC principles and best practices
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, BrightLocal (or other Reputation Management tools), Yext, SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, Ahrefs, or similar tools
• Analytical & troubleshooting skills (GA4, GTM)
• Highly attentive to detail & excellent at troubleshooting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CMS (e.g., WordPress) is a plus
• Basic understanding of PPC concepts and platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads
• Familiarity with Google Ads and Facebook Ads platforms
• Knowledge of how SEO and PPC can work together to maximize search visibility and ROI
