Job Description

Position Overview

As a Senior SEO Strategist at Evolved, you will play a pivotal role in leading SEO related tasks, strategy and results for clients with your team. This is not just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of a team that's redefining digital marketing standards.

What You'll Do

  • Where applicable, become the main day-to-day point of contact for SEO performance and strategy

  • Where applicable, lead the execution of client SEO strategies and be responsible for overall performance, as well as specifically that of Technical SEO recommendations

  • Monitor performance of strategies and identify areas of improvement

  • Deliver results to clients and support with the development of our SEO offering as an agency

  • Analyse and review client organic performance fluctuations and changes

  • Take ownership of each client’s organic performance owing to technical abilities and limitations as a key point of contact for technical consultancy and queries

  • Perform in-depth technical SEO audits to identify new opportunities and understand potential risks, assisting in incorporating this analysis into client strategies

  • Oversee the delivery and implementation of technical SEO recommendations, working alongside the relevant client stakeholders and third-party developers were required

  • Provide updates and analysis on technical implemented recommendations and contribute to client reporting needs

  • Plan and lead larger technical initiatives, such as website migrations, from project start to completion

  • Participate in technical data gathering to assist with new business pitches and proposals

  • Provide an advanced level of technical SEO support with a thorough understanding of the latest technical SEO best practice, concepts and terminology

  • Perform advanced data analysis by combining multiple complex data sources to provide insight into technical issues and highlighting key performance opportunities

  • Create, manage and deliver client reports, in line with objectives

  • Build and maintain close alignment with the Client Services and Sales team to identify and manage potential upsell opportunities

  • Develop internal technical processes and technical consultation/solution standards

  • Ensure any risk to business revenue is flagged and work with the Head of SEO and Client Services team to mitigate this

  • Responsible for assisting the Head of SEO with the training of newer team members, as well as cross-departmental training where required

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong experience within an SEO strategy role or similar
  • Demonstrable experience working on SEO campaigns
  • Experience with various SEO tools and applications
  • Thorough experience with Analytics platforms (GA4 and Google Search Console)
  • Fantastic knowledge and understanding of SEO, its algorithms and history
  • Experience working with third-parties such as developers/designers and other stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Experience working with Paid, Social, CRO and Analytics teams
