Click&Boat is a rental platform product of Boats Group, the fastest-growing digital business in the recreational boating space. We are a talented team of techies, creatives, marketers, closers and customer advocates who spend each day pushing the boundaries of technology to make buying, selling & renting boats easy. We spend each day surrounded by 500,000 boats from across the globe!
Click&Boat is the European leader in boat rentals. Our marketplace makes boating accessible around the world, from a day trip to a week-long adventure, while enabling private and professional boat owners to generate additional income through rentals.
To support this growth, we are hiring a Senior SEO Manager to join a dynamic team and help rebuild the foundations of our organic search performance across Click&Boat.
Weβre looking for a Senior SEO Manager to join our Search crew.
Reporting to the Head of Search, you will play a key part in rebuilding and scaling Click&Boatβs SEO foundations, while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Content and Marketing teams to drive high-quality execution and measurable growth.
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who combines strong technical SEO expertise with strategic thinking and a hands-on mindset. You will help shape a sustainable SEO engine for Click&Boat, with a clear understanding of the overlap between Boats Group marketplaces and Click&Boat while keeping both scopes properly separated.
If you're excited about marketplaces, digital business and international growth, you might be exactly who weβre looking for.
With the guidance of your manager, you will perform the following tasks:
Rebuild and strengthen the foundations of Click&Boatβs search results so they can scale sustainably across markets.
Own and prioritize SEO initiatives across multiple properties, ensuring clear separation between Click&Boat and Boats Group marketplace workstreams.
Define and execute a robust on-page SEO and content strategy tailored to user intent, search opportunity and business priorities.
Lead technical SEO improvements across crawlability, indexation, internal linking, rendering and site performance in close partnership with Product and Engineering.
Design, run and assess SEO experiments through SearchPilot or equivalent testing methodologies to validate impact and guide decisions.
Analyze performance across markets, languages and property types to identify growth opportunities and turn insights into action.
Help embed SEO best practices across the organization by influencing cross-functional teams and championing a strong test-and-learn culture.
5+ years of SEO experience, including managing multiple web properties at scale in international environments.
Strong technical SEO expertise, with a solid understanding of JavaScript, rendering, crawling, indexation and how websites behave in search.
Proven experience in marketplace, travel, ecommerce or digital media businesses, with a strong grasp of growth levers in complex digital ecosystems.
Confidence working closely with Product and Engineering teams, translating SEO needs into clear, actionable requirements.
Strong command of tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog, SearchPilot and similar SEO platforms.
A localisation mindset: you understand that international SEO success comes from market-specific strategies, not just translated content.
A proactive, impact-driven and hands-on approach, with the ability to make meaningful changes quickly and measure what works.
The knowledge of another language than English is highly valued.
If you have a boating background and interest, itβs even more perfect!
We believe that a great workplace experience helps teams do their best work. Hereβs what you can expect:
A fast-growing international company with real impact;
Remote work policy: 1 day per week, depending on periods of the year and seniority;
5 additional days off;
Extensive internal training;
Lunch vouchers (Cobee);
Gym partnerships (Wellhub);
Boat licence offered and exclusive discounts on your next boat trips;
Breakfast every Tuesday morning;
A welcoming office in Barcelona, next to the centrally located Cathedral and just a 20-minute walk from the sea;
Team-building activities.
Full-time permanent contract starting as soon as possible.
At Boats Group, we share one mission: getting more people on the water.

Remember, even if you donβt meet every requirement, you might still be a great match for us. And yes, weβre especially talking to women here: science says that you are less likely to apply if you donβt meet them all. So go for it, weβd love to hear from you.
