The Role:

This isn't just another SEO role. As our first dedicated Senior SEO Manager post-acquisition, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape the organic growth trajectory of a newly formed leader in the B2B Travel & Expense (T&E) market. Reporting directly to the Director of Growth Marketing, you will be instrumental in navigating a critical site migration (TravelPerk.com & Yokoy.io) and then defining and executing the comprehensive SEO strategy for our combined T&E offerings. You'll leverage your deep technical expertise and strategic vision to build TravelPerk's organic presence from a strong foundation, identify significant growth opportunities in the competitive T&E landscape, and lay the groundwork for a future best-in-class internal SEO function. What You'll Do:

  • Oversee Migration Success: Play a key role in the successful technical migration and consolidation of TravelPerk.com and Yokoy.io, ensuring SEO best practices are followed to minimize risk and preserve authority. Monitor post-migration performance closely and manage stabilization efforts.
  • Develop & Own SEO Strategy: Define, own, and execute the comprehensive SEO strategy for TravelPerk, encompassing both travel and expense management, targeting key B2B audiences across North America and Europe.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify untapped growth opportunities within the T&E keyword landscape. Build the business case for strategic initiatives.
  • Drive Organic Performance: Develop and implement tactics to significantly increase organic rankings, traffic, qualified leads, and ultimately, revenue pipeline contribution from organic search.
  • Technical SEO Leadership: Serve as the internal expert on technical SEO, ensuring our website is optimized for search performance (crawlability, indexability, site speed, schema, etc.).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Marketing, Web Development, Data, and Campaigns teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all relevant initiatives. Effectively manage the relationship with our external SEO agency partner.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Establish robust SEO performance reporting and dashboards. Analyze data to generate actionable insights, communicate performance to stakeholders, and inform strategic decisions. Define new performance baselines post-migration.
  • Future Team Planning: Develop a long-term roadmap for the SEO function at TravelPerk, including identifying future resource needs (people, tools, budget) to achieve ambitious growth goals.

What You Need To Succeed:

  • 7-10+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a proven track record of driving significant organic growth in complex B2B environments (multi-product SaaS experience is ideal).
  • Deep Technical SEO Expertise: Strong understanding of crawlability, indexation, site architecture, schema markup, site speed optimization, and log file analysis.
  • Large-Scale Migration Experience: Demonstrable experience successfully managing or playing a lead SEO role in complex website migrations (e.g., domain changes, platform changes, large site consolidations).
  • International SEO Experience: Proven experience developing and executing SEO strategies across multiple countries and languages, particularly within North America and Europe.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical: Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, and major SEO platforms (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog). Ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Proactive & Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically, develop long-term plans, and proactively identify opportunities and risks. Self-starter mentality.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Experience within the Travel, FinTech, or Expense Management industries.
  • Experience managing SEO agencies effectively.
  • Experience developing and mentoring junior SEO team members.
  • Familiarity with common B2B MarTech (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo) and CMS platforms.
