Role: Link Building & Outreach Specialist (Junior-Medior)
The Mission
We are looking for a detail-oriented Link Building & Outreach Specialist to join our SEO team. We are focused on building high-quality, relevant backlinks through strategic outreach.
In this position, your focus is split: 70% of your time is spent on vetting domains, managing content quality, and maintaining our database. The remaining 30% is spent executing and managing our outreach campaigns to establish partnerships with new domains.
- Your Core Focus (70%): Selection & Content Strategy
Domain Vetting & Curation: You will be the gatekeeper of our link profile. You’ll hand-pick high-impact domains from our database for specific campaigns, ensuring they meet our strict quality and relevancy standards.
- Editorial Supervision: You are the final check. You’ll manage the content pipeline and perform quality assurance on all guest articles to ensure they are SEO-optimized, well-written, and reflect our brand standards.
Topic Ideation: You’ll lead the creative process for article topics, finding the "win-win" between our SEO goals and what the partner domain actually wants to publish.
- Database Integrity: You’ll own the data. This means regularly auditing and updating our internal database of partner domains to ensure every site on our list is active, relevant, and high-authority.
- The Engine (30%): Outreach Execution
- Campaign Management: You’ll launch and manage end-to-end outreach campaigns using PitchBox.
Prospecting: You’ll identify and qualify new high-authority websites and partner domains that align with our growth goals.
- CRM Hygiene: You’ll keep our systems spotless. You’ll ensure all outreach data, contact information, and campaign statuses are accurately reflected in the CRM.
- Note: These ratios are dynamic and may shift month-to-month based on project needs and campaign cycles.
Skills & Requirements
- 1–3 Years of SEO/Outreach Experience: You understand how link building impacts rankings and you know the difference between a "good" link and a "spammy" one.
- PitchBox Proficiency: You’ve used PitchBox (or a similar tool) to manage outreach at scale and know how to navigate templates and sequences.
- Metric Literacy: You are comfortable using tools like Ahrefs or Semrush to evaluate a site’s health (DR/DA, organic traffic trends, and link relevancy).
- Strong Editorial Eye: You have a high standard for written English. You can tell if an article is "publication-ready" or needs more work.
- Data Disciplined: You find satisfaction in a well-organised CRM and a clean database.
