Position Summary

The E-Commerce & SEO Manager is a proactive self-starter who uses their creative abilities and knowledge of products to connect with consumers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on turning insights into action using content optimization and data interpretation. They have a keen eye for solving puzzles and driving measurable results. This position ensures customer, consumer and internal information is used to build knowledge and insights that can be used to improve awareness and overall results. This position is required to work on-site full-time at Test Rite’s Bentonville, AR office location.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the position:

 

Website Management & SEO Optimization

  • Manage and optimize customer websites, ensuring responsive design and consistent brand presentation.
  • Lead SEO efforts including keyword research, content optimization, backlinking strategies, and technical audits.
  • Monitor website health and performance (site speed, crawl issues, indexing) and implement improvements.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the ecommerce industry.

Product Management

  • Upload and manage product listings across customer and marketplace platforms.
  • Ensure all product data—descriptions, specs, pricing, and imagery—is accurate and SEO-friendly.
  • Collaborate with merchandising to organize product categories and maintain updated catalogs.
  • Assist with transactability tracking and optimizations (Nil picks, eCom Inventory, etc.)
  • Monitor inventory levels and synchronize stock availability with input from the replenishment managers.

 Content & Item Setup

  • Oversee content management and item setup for in-store, 1P and 3P partner portals.
  • Ensure new product launches are accurately executed with compelling, search-optimized content.

 

Digital Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with account managers and resource office team to ensure websites reflect current promotions and marketing priorities.
  • Track campaign performance and support continuous improvement efforts.

 Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze key metrics (traffic, conversion, bounce rate, order value) and provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze consumer behavior and purchasing patterns to inform decision-making.
  • Produce performance dashboards and reports to guide strategic decisions.
  • Identify site optimization opportunities based on customer behavior and trends.
  • Leads the analysis of data & information to roll-up effective recaps for both internal and external customers.

Customer Experience & Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to website-related customer issues and escalate when needed.
  • Support customer satisfaction by ensuring accurate content, smooth site navigation, and prompt issue resolution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams— account managers, replenishment, IT —to align priorities and ensure eCommerce success.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to monitor and make informed recommendations and adjustments based on analytics and metrics
  • Ability to effectively communicate data trends and findings to other teams including senior leaders
  • Skilled in customer-focused communication techniques for maximum engagement and providing considerate, efficient support when issues arise.
  • Utilize keen knowledge of current SEO tools and techniques and stay up to date on industry trends and opportunities for further optimization
  • Highly skilled in writing, editing, and formatting digital content
  • Able to work independently frequently with cross-functional partnerships and regular collaboration

 

Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education needed to perform the job successfully:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Business, Marketing, or related field, or the equivalent 4-years of in-depth professional experience in related fields.
  • 2–5 years of experience in eCommerce, SEO, or digital operations is required
  • Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console)
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and algorithm trends
  • Experience with Walmart Marketplace
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central

 

 

Work Conditions:

  • General office environment
