Employment Type: Full-Time
We’re seeking a data-driven, detail-oriented SEO Specialist passionate about helping e-commerce sellers grow through marketplace visibility and optimization. This is a hands-on, analytical, and creative role—ideal for someone who enjoys blending keyword strategy, copywriting, and client communication to drive measurable results.
The ideal candidate has experience optimizing listings on platforms such as Etsy, Amazon, or Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) and understands how keyword positioning impacts sales and conversions. Experience with K–12 education or digital curriculum products is a plus, but not required.
You’ll work directly with clients to improve product visibility, leveraging internal SEO tools and data insights to identify low-performing listings, generate keyword opportunities, and execute optimization strategies. As the first dedicated SEO hire, you’ll also have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role, helping scale and manage a small team within the first six months as the service expands.
Audit and analyze product listings across marketplaces (e.g., TpT, Etsy, Amazon) to identify opportunities for ranking and conversion improvement.
Use internal SEO tools to uncover keyword gaps and visibility insights.
Rewrite and optimize product titles, descriptions, tags, and attributes for improved discoverability and click-through rate (CTR).
Design and execute experiments and A/B tests to validate and improve SEO and conversion performance.
Communicate findings, strategies, and results through client calls, Loom videos, and reports.
Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and data teams to refine SEO processes, playbooks, and automation tooling.
Track and report key performance metrics, including search rankings, CTR, conversion rates, and revenue impact.
2+ years of experience in marketplace SEO (Etsy, Amazon, TpT, or similar).
Proven track record of improving search visibility, CTR, and conversion rates.
Strong copywriting skills for crafting compelling and keyword-rich product titles and descriptions.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and keyword research tools.
Excellent client communication and project management abilities.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an ownership mentality.
Familiarity with K–12 education or curriculum-related digital products.
Experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and creative testing (images, thumbnails, or pricing).
Comfort using AI-assisted writing tools or light HTML for formatting and optimization.
This is a unique chance to join an early-stage, fast-growing service where you’ll have a direct impact on product visibility, client revenue, and process innovation. You’ll also play a pivotal role in shaping how automation and human expertise combine to deliver high-quality marketplace SEO.
As the service scales, you’ll have opportunities for career advancement, including the potential to manage a team of 3–5 analysts and help define future SEO standards and systems.
Competitive base salary plus performance-based variable compensation tied to measurable outcomes (e.g., search ranking improvements, CTR gains, conversion rates, client satisfaction).
Flexible work environment with remote collaboration across time zones.
Growth opportunities and a clear path toward leadership within the SEO team.
