A growing digital-focused organization is seeking an SEO Specialist to support its clients by driving long-term organic growth and improving search visibility across multiple industries. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this role is responsible for executing SEO strategies, optimizing website performance, and delivering clear, insightful reporting that demonstrates impact.
The SEO Specialist will play a key part in enhancing clients’ online presence through consistent optimization, thoughtful execution, and data-backed insights. What You'll Do
- SEO Strategy:
- Run keyword research/mapping and implement strategies to improve rankings, visibility, and organic traffic.
- Craft link-building and backlink strategies to improve domain authority
- Audit current and prospective client websites.
- Content Creation & Optimization:
- Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, and content structure, ensuring all changes are aligned with SEO best practices.
- Highlight technical SEO improvements, including page speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, and URL structure.
- Develop content outlines for blogs and service/product/industry page copy that is brand-aligned and boosts traffic.
- Quality Control:
- Make sure SEO content is correctly uploaded to our clients’ websites and is compliant with applicable policies and best practices; fix or flag issues as appropriate.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present detailed reports on SEO performance.
- Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of our strategies and content, then provide actionable insights.
- Stay informed on organic traffic trends and best practices, with a special focus on LLM-driven traffic.
What You Need
- Proven 3+ years of experience managing and optimizing SEO efforts for service-based and e-commerce websites.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs).
- Experience with local SEO (e.g., GBP, local listings).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Upper intermediate English proficiency.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing agency experience.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

- The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement.

- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST.
