The Role
CLIENT is looking for a SEO Project Manager to lead the execution of SEO initiatives across our web and mobile platforms. In this role, you’ll manage and drive projects that enhance our organic visibility, with a focus on technical SEO. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, content, and analytics to plan, track, and deliver impactful SEO improvements that support our user growth goals.
This role is ideal for someone who brings a solid foundation in SEO, excellent project management skills, and experience working with large consumer brands and mobile apps.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage SEO-focused projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery across web and app teams
Collaborate with engineering, content, and product teams to implement technical SEO recommendations and best practices
Support and guide the team on key technical SEO areas including crawlability, indexing, structured data, page speed, canonicalization, and site architecture
Work with mobile and ASO teams to ensure deep linking, app indexation, and search discoverability are optimized
Monitor site performance and SEO health, using tools like GSC, Screaming Frog, and others to identify and prioritize technical issues
Maintain project documentation, timelines, and stakeholder communication across multiple teams and departments
Help build internal SEO knowledge by providing documentation, training, and support to non-SEO stakeholders
Stay current on SEO trends and Google algorithm updates, and proactively recommend enhancements
Work with analytics teams to track KPIs, report performance, and measure impact of SEO initiatives
4+ years of experience in SEO, with a strong understanding of technical SEO principles
2+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally in cross-functional environments
Experience working with large-scale consumer brands and complex site/app ecosystems
Familiarity with mobile-first SEO and app SEO (e.g., app indexing, ASO, deep linking)
Strong experience using SEO and analytics tools (e.g., GSC, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA, Looker)
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across stakeholders and departments
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into clear action plans
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
