SEO Specialist

Started as a dream of one Icelandic couple, Arctic Adventures today is a big group of professional guides, customer care specialists, marketing and sales teams, operations specialists, IT, and others based in Vilnius and Iceland.

We’re looking for an SEO Specialist to join our team in Vilnius to work with on-site and off-page optimization. In this role, you will focus on SEO processes and use SEO tactics for organic traffic growth. Additionally, you will be required to utilize analytical skills to implement SEO tasks on our websites. The ideal candidate is an eager learner who is comfortable doing tactical and technical SEO work.

Responsibilities

• Work on maximizing the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines to the website;
• Conduct keyword research;
• Create SEO strategies for different business goals;
• Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes;
• Analyse competitors’ SEO strategies to gain more market insight;
• Optimize website content and landing pages;
• Work with the content team to improve the website content and landing pages;
• Work closely with other team members to produce unique and meaningful content;
• Analyze backlink profiles regularly as well as qualifying websites for quality link potential and identify potential link opportunities;
• Utilize a variety of SEO tools (such as Ahrefs, SemRush, Screaming Frog, and others) and manual search efforts;
• Report to the team on changes and metrics.

Requirements

• Experience in executing successful SEO campaigns either in-house or within an agency environment
• Communication skills, verbal and written communication in English
• Ability to understand web analytics metrics and draw SEO-related conclusions accordingly
• Knowledge of SEO best practices (link building, keyword research, on-page optimization, and others)
• Strong ownership of your work
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Attention to details
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.

Gross Monthly Salary:

2140 – 3140 eur gross monthly (depending on your experience and expertise). Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and competence.
