About the Role
As SEO Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping the SEO roadmap across multiple European markets; balancing technical opportunities, content direction, and authority-building efforts. You'll be part of the Search Engine Marketing team and work closely with our Digital Factory (development team), content specialists, and external partners, making SEO a core pillar of how we attract and convert customers.
This role is ideal for someone who brings both structure and initiative; capable of spotting SEO opportunities, shaping them into clear projects, and being able to also execute them. You'll co-develop the SEO roadmap together with the Search Engine Marketing Manager and other specialists and act as the go-to person for SEO questions across the business. Whether it's aligning technical rollouts during development sprints, guiding scalable direction, or educating colleagues on SEO principles - you'll help ensure our organic performance continues to grow in a future-proof and sustainable way.
What you will do
- Co-own and drive the SEO roadmap in close collaboration with the Search Engine Marketing Manager and other specialists, aligning priorities with business needs, technical dependencies, and growths potential;
- Collaborate with our development team to propose and deliver technical SEO improvements;
- Drive a scalable, data driven strategy in partnership with internal content teams - using AI tools developed in-house to enhance output;
- Guide and steer linkbuilding direction in collaboration with external agencies;
- Monitor SEO health, rankings and performance KPI's using advanced tools (e.g. Google Search Console, ContentKing, DragonMatrics, Looker Studio, Screaming Frog);
- Identify and advocate for scalable automation opportunities to improve SEO workflows and reduce manual effort;
- Act as an internal SEO educator - helping marketeers, product teams, and developers understand SEO principles and best practices;
- Stay ahead of algorithm changes and emerging SEO trends, such as AI mode in search and shopping in Chat GPT, and adapt strategy accordingly.
What you bring
Required knowledge and experience;
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally within large-scale or multi-site environments;
- Strong command of core SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Dragon Metrics, and Looker Studio;
- A background in online marketing; higher education in Marketing, Communication, Digital Business, or a related field is preferred.
Skills and mindset
- Ability to identify and prioritize SEO opportunities based on impact and feasibility;
- Strong technical SEO understanding, including crawlability, indexing, structured data and internal linking;
- Skilled at translating data into actionable insights for content and strategy;
- Excellent communicator who can advocate for SEO across teams and educate non-SEO stakeholders.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Python or a strong interest in SEO automation;
- Experience working with development teams and agile workflows (e.g. Jira or sprint cycles).
