Key Responsibilities
- Conduct an SEO audit of ICTβs website and identify issues affecting search rankings.
- Develop and implement a prioritized SEO improvement plan.
- Conduct keyword and competitor research for ICTβs key services and markets.
- Improve on-page SEO, including page titles, descriptions, headings, content, and internal linking.
- Identify and help resolve technical SEO issues related to indexing, site structure, performance, and search-engine accessibility.
- Recommend improvements or new website content to strengthen organic search performance.
- Improve local and geographic search visibility in priority Canadian and U.S. markets, including Houston, Texas.
- Monitor performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Provide regular updates on results, priorities, and recommendations.
- Document ongoing SEO recommendations and best practices for continued use after the contract
Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in SEO, digital marketing, website optimization, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience improving website organic search performance.
- Strong understanding of technical and on-page SEO.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Experience with keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO auditing tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work based on business impact.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with B2B, construction, industrial, engineering, or manufacturing organizations is considered an asset.
What Success Looks Like
By the end of the six-month contract, ICT should have:
