SEO Specialist

Started as a dream of one Icelandic couple, Arctic Adventures today is a big group of professional guides, customer care specialists, marketing and sales teams, operations specialists, IT, and others based in Vilnius and Iceland.

We’re looking for an SEO Specialist to join our team in Vilnius to work with on-site and AI Search optimization. In this role, you will focus on SEO processes and use SEO tactics for organic traffic growth. Additionally, you will be required to utilize analytical skills to implement SEO tasks on our websites. The ideal candidate is an eager learner who is comfortable doing tactical and technical SEO work.

Responsibilities

• Work on maximizing the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines to the website;
• Create strategy and execution to grow the traffic from AI-enabled search engines e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.
• Conduct keyword research and gap analysis to identify and prioritize SEO content opportunities;
• Work on SEO content initiatives with content team;
• Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes;
• Analyse competitors’ SEO strategies to gain more market insight;
• Work with the team to improve the website content and landing pages;
• Stay on top of SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, AI Search engines updates, and best practices to ensure content and strategy remain competitive.

Requirements

• Experience in executing successful SEO strategies either in-house or within an agency environment;
• Knowledge and/or strong curiosity in Google’s SGE and Generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT) and how they impact search;
• Ability to understand web analytics metrics and draw SEO-related conclusions accordingly;
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs, Screaming Frog), and web analytics platforms (e.g. GA4, Google Search Console);
• Experience with AI tools and a proactive interest in leveraging their evolving capabilities for content and strategy development;
• Knowledge of on-site, off-site and technical SEO best practices;
• Communication skills, verbal and written communication in English;
• Strong ownership of your work;
• Attention to details.

Gross Monthly Salary:

2630 – 3400 eur gross monthly (depending on your experience and expertise). Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and competence.
