The SEO Manager is responsible for developing and executing a data-driven, results-oriented SEO strategy aimed at increasing organic traffic, improving search rankings, and driving user conversions at multi brands and in multi languages, in the respective markets. This role involves technical SEO audits, keyword and competitor analysis, content planning and collaboration, as well as implementing effective on-page and off-page SEO tactics. The SEO Manager will define performance goals, track key metrics, and continuously optimize strategies to ensure sustainable growth and visibility across search engines.
Responsibilities:
- Create an effective and comprehensive SEO strategy focused on driving growth in traffic and conversions (long-term and short-term).
- Perform market competitiveness analysis, SEO trends, best practices and competitor analysis.
- Perform ongoing keyword research, expansion, optimization and identify target keywords.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to optimize and create SEO contents.
- Analyse opportunities and gaps in content strategy, constitute content plans, and lead content teams to create high quality and effective Seo contents to improve rankings/metrics.
- Develop off-page optimization strategy and implement link building strategy
- Conduct technical audits, analyse technical SEO issues and identify opportunities for improving site structure, load speeds, mobile optimization etc.
- Set KPIs/goals, track key performance indicators, report metrics and take actions to improve performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in SEO, SEM, content marketing with a proven track record of driving growth in organic traffic and rankings
- Experience with various SEO methods and cases in the iGaming industry
- Hands-on expertise in website analytics, keyword research and data mining tools; such as Google Analytics, Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Similarweb etc
- Understanding of ranking factors, search engine algorithms, technical SEO and content strategy
- Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Strong problem solving, multi-task management, project management, time management, analytical skills and data driven mindset
- Native or professional fluency in Norwegian will be a plus
