Your Mission:

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic SEO Content Writer to help deliver content initiatives that will boost SEO Revenue and visits on the Wowcher website. They will work closely with the Senior SEO Executive to create informative, engaging and user-first content, to help improve the rankings of our products, deals and landing pages. They will use SEO tools, such as Google Trends, SEMRush and Google Search Console, to understand how our potential customers search and identify opportunities for new pages and/or updates to existing pages. The SEO Content writer will also assist in content marketing efforts and onsite merchandising, working closely with the marketing and analysis teams to ensure SEO friendly content receives the right exposure onsite and elsewhere. They will also work closely with the wider content team and various stakeholders, to help disseminate SEO content guidance and play an important role in increasing the visibility of SEO within the business. This role is perfect for someone looking to continue their SEO journey in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and who thrives off seeing the impact of their work.

Your Quests Include:

• Have ownership and lead on various SEO content initiatives
• Create well optimised, user focused content for the Wowcher website in line with SEO terms and trends
• Make updates and refresh content in line with SEO terms and trends.
• Commision content from the wider content team, providing them with clear briefs and guidance to follow
• Develop and share content ideas, and follow these through to completion
• Perform in-depth keyword research to inform decisions
• Work within the CMS, uploading and editing content
• Help communicate any SEO guidelines to the Content team

The Ideal Candidate

• Has experience writing content (paid or unpaid) ideally for a digital audience
• Is a self-starter, uses initiative and has a desire to take ownership of projects
• Hands on experience in SEO is not essential, but must have a passion for SEO and the ability to pick things up quickly
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adheres to tight deadlines
• Has a desire to learn and upskill themselves in all things SEO
• Is a confident communicator who can work with various senior members of the business
• Excellent written skills, a keen eye for detail with perfect grammar
• Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus
• Experience using SEO and Analytics tools, such as SEM Rush, Google Trends, Google Search Console and Adobe Analytics is a plus
