SEO Content Specialist

Core Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize content for blogs, service pages, emails, and other digital assets using SEO and customer journey best practices.
  • Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) and local listingsβ€”monitoring performance, executing updates, and launching seasonal offers.
  • Support on-page and off-page SEO through backlink outreach, content refinement, and structured metadata.
  • Use SEMrush and Conductor (or similar) for keyword strategy, topic discovery, performance tracking, and audience analysis.
  • Employ generative AI (e.g., Conductor’s NLP tools) to scale content ideation and production.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align content calendars with marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Participate in persona development and customer journey mapping using insights from surveys and analytics.
  • Provide weekly and monthly website and SEO performance reporting.

  • SurveyMonkey / Google Forms

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years in SEO, content marketing, or digital production.
  • Proficiency with local SEO tools, on-page optimization, and metadata standards.
  • Experience using AI or NLP-powered content creation platforms preferred, but not required.
  • Strong writing/editing skills and analytical acumen.
  • Experience with multi-location or service-based businesses is a plus.

This is a salaried, exempt position. The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience.
