SEO Content Specialist
Position Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented SEO Content Specialist for our English market to join our SEO team and help scale our content flow. This role focuses on developing SEO-optimized content templates, conducting keyword research, and creating comprehensive content briefs for our content agency partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SEO principles and the ability to translate keyword research into actionable content strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Template Development
- Create and maintain SEO-optimized content templates for competitive SEO vertical with ambition to reach top results on search engine via content
- Customize the content brief templates per new page, to ensure strong probability to rank over the competition
- Craft detailed, SEO-focused content briefs for external content agencies with proper keyword targeting, content structure, and optimization guidelines
- Communicate SEO requirements clearly to content creators and agencies
- Review and approve content briefs before content creation to ensure quality and completeness
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content templates with business objectives and SEO goals (such as designers, legal etc)
SEO Keyword Research & Analysis for Content Briefs
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research using industry-standard tools
- Analyze search intent and competitive landscape to identify content opportunities
- Create keyword targeting strategies for different content types and campaigns
- Monitor keyword performance and adjust strategies based on data insights
- Apply advanced keyword research methods and strategies (training and guidance will be provided, but candidates must have foundational understanding of search volume concepts)
Content Management & Publishing
- Upload and optimize content on company website via content management systems
- Ensure proper implementation of SEO elements (meta tags, headers, internal linking, etc.)
- Coordinate with web development team if any technical SEO implementation
- Monitor content performance and make optimization recommendations
Essential Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in SEO with focus on content optimization
- Proven experience in keyword research and SEO analysis
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Experience creating content briefs and working with external content agencies
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, or similar)
Technical Requirements
- Understanding on-page SEO best practices
- Knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals
- Ability to analyze and interpret SEO data and metrics
- Experience with content optimization for search engines
Additional Skills (Advantage)
- HTML Knowledge: Understanding of HTML structure and basic web development principles (basic level, as AI help a lot if any issues in the uploading)
- iGaming / Sportsbetting Industry Experience: Previous experience in iGaming, sportsbetting, or similar regulated industries
- Related Vertical Experience: Experience in finance, forex, cryptocurrency, or other compliance-heavy industries
Nice to Have
- Experience with schema markup and structured data
- Knowledge of international SEO and multi-language content strategies
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles
- Understanding of content marketing funnels and user journey mapping
