About your workplace
Overall objective/Purpose of position
Implement effective SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive more organic traffic through on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, AI-driven SEO approaches, and high-quality content creation.
Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and AI-powered SEO platforms, stay updated on SEO and AI search trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SEO efforts with broader business goals, including adapting strategies for AI-powered search experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Assist and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business objectives to improve organic traffic, visibility, and conversions across both traditional and AI-powered search environments.
- Track, analyze, and report on website performance using SEO tools, analytics platforms, and AI-based insights, providing recommendations for ongoing improvements.
- Monitor keyword trends, search intent shifts, and AI-generated results (e.g., Google SGE, Bing Copilot) to optimize website content for relevant, high-impact keywords and AI-driven queries.
- Partner with eCommerce performance, product, UX, digital marketing, and local market teams to ensure SEO initiatives, including AI SEO opportunities, are fully integrated into broader digital strategies, development initiatives, and business goals.
- Ensure fundamental SEO elements are in place and optimized for both search engines and AI models, while continuously improving technical SEO aspects such as page performance, mobile optimization, structured data, discoverability/crawlability/indexability, and semantic markup.
- Conduct regular SEO audits, including AI search visibility checks, to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the website adheres to SEO and AI search best practices.
- Perform competitive analysis to identify industry trends, AI-driven search opportunities, gaps, and growth potential within the organic search landscape.
- Provide always-on dashboards and ad hoc performance reports, incorporating insights into AI search visibility and AI-generated results, with actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and advancements in AI-driven search (SGE, AI summaries, conversational search), making adjustments as necessary to remain competitive.
Competencies/Skills for position
- Minimum 5 years of eCommerce SEO experience with proven skills in content optimization (keyword identification, monitoring) and technical SEO (auditing, implementation, product support).
- Strong understanding of and active following of AI-driven SEO trends, tools, and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to work with in collaboration with engineers, UX/UI, brand departments, and other stakeholders
- Proficient in SEO tools (GSC, third-party SEO tools) and eCommerce analytics (GA, Power BI) with excellent attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive business decisions
