We're looking for a talented Local SEO Account Manager to be the primary point of contact for clients. This isn't a hand-off role β you'll own the relationship from strategy to execution. That means meeting directly with clients, diagnosing their local search presence, building a customized strategy, and implementing it yourself. What You'll Be Doing
- Serving as the main point of contact for a portfolio of home service and trades clients
- Conducting client onboarding calls, monthly check-ins, and strategy reviews
- Auditing clients' local search presence and building customized SEO strategies
- Optimizing and managing Google Business Profiles
- Implementing on-site SEO improvements (primarily on WordPress sites)
- Building and managing local citations and directory listings
- Monitoring rankings, traffic, and lead metrics β and translating that data into clear client reporting
- Identifying new opportunities to improve client performance and proactively communicating them
- Staying current on local SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry changes
- 3+ years of hands-on local SEO experience
- Strong knowledge of Google Business Profile optimization and management
- Solid understanding of on-site SEO as it applies to small and local businesses
- Experience working with WordPress
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service experience β you genuinely enjoy talking with clients and keeping them informed
- Based in the US, preferably Central or Eastern Time Zone
Preferred:
- Experience in or strong familiarity with the home service or trades industry (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, garage doors, landscaping, etc.)
- Experience with local rank tracking tools (BrightLocal, Whitespark, etc.)
- Familiarity with Google Local Services Ads (LSAs)
