Junior SEO Specialist & Content Assistant (Ohayu)

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person, eager to grow in the SEO and digital content creation fields.

You’ll help to manage the content on a company website, coordinate with writers, and promote published articles and pages to get them noticed by search engines and LLMs.

This could be a great fit if you have decent writing skills, basic SEO knowledge, and enjoy researching and organizing things.

What You Will Do

1. Coordinate with our writing team: assign topics, check drafts, give feedback.
2. Format and upload content to our website (using a CMS like WordPress or Strapi).
3. Add SEO basics: titles, descriptions, internal links, etc.
4. Promote articles and site pages, and get essential backlinks as follows.
   - Post helpful replies on Quora or Reddit linking to our content.
   - Suggest our content as sources on Wikis where relevant.
   - Do "crowd marketing" (forums, niche sites, social mentions).
5. Track backlinks and outreach results using spreadsheets or other tools.

Candidate Requirements

• Solid written and spoken English skills (minimum C1).
• Familiarity with basic SEO concepts.
• Comfortable researching, reaching out to blogs, and posting on platforms like Quora, Reddit, or forums.
• Able to work independently, stay organized, and willing to learn.
• Strong attention to details and analytical skills.

Bonus Points if You

• Know how to use Google Search Console.
• Have experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog.
• Have done any link-building, outreach, affiliate, or community marketing.
• Worked with WordPress or other CMS platforms before.
• Understand basic HTML tags, meta tags, and other structural page elements.

Work type and format

This is a full-time position. It’s possible to work fully remotely or from our offices in Kyiv or Warsaw.
