Overview: We are seeking a skilled SEO Analyst with 4 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. Leverage your expertise in SEO strategy, on-page and off-page techniques, and CMS (Content Management Systems) to optimize our sites to improve rankings and drive targeted traffic. You must be good at managing CMS (using WordPress/Joomla etc. or in house CMS tools) and editing pages/content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with CMS (Content Management Systems) to build and update web pages, ensuring content is properly optimized for SEO.
- Create on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, and internal linking, to improve search engine ranking and user experience.
- Implement effective off-page SEO strategies, including link-building and outreach to enhance domain authority.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research, identifying opportunities and trends to improve site visibility and rankings.
- Using Google Analytics to regularly monitor, analyse, and report on key performance metrics, including keyword rankings, traffic growth, and ROI, providing insights for continuous optimization. Use of Excel with a beginner to intermediate proficiency is a must.
- Conduct SEO audits to identify and resolve technical issues affecting site performance (such as broken links, site speed, mobile optimization, and crawlability).
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and health industry news to implement best practices and maintain competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content, ensuring it aligns with search intent, keyword targets, and best practices.
- Expertise/experience in health based content/websites would be an added advantage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably with a focus on the health or healthcare industry.
- Experience working with popular CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.), including editing and optimizing web content.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTML/CSS to assist with web editing and content optimization.
- Strong working knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).
- Proven ability to conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using SEO tools like SEMRush Ahrefs, GSC, Google Keyword Planner etc.
- Experience in technical SEO, including understanding of site speed, mobile responsiveness, and structured data.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate on multiple projects.
