Vaibhav Singh is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued >$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience (edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design)

The charter for this role will include


  • SEO Strategy Development: Define and execute the SEO product roadmap to drive sustainable organic growth. Prioritize features and optimizations based on impact and alignment with business objectives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, content, and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices into the product development lifecycle. Ensure seamless integration of SEO strategies into all projects.

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze website performance, user behavior, and key SEO metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Drive A/B tests and experiments to improve conversion rates and search rankings.

  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors to ensure Leap maintains its leadership in organic search performance.

  • Content Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with the content team to create, optimize, and scale high-performing SEO content across target geographies and categories.

  • Technical SEO Oversight: Manage technical SEO audits, identify bottlenecks, and work with developers to ensure best practices in website structure, speed, and crawlability.

  • KPIs Ownership: Own critical SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and on-site engagement, and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with business objectives.



Ideal Persona


  • Experience: 2+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in owning and improving SEO-driven metrics.

  • SEO Expertise: Deep understanding of SEO best practices, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Hands-on experience with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog is a must.

  • Product Management Skills: Experience driving the product lifecycle for B2B or B2C products, especially those with an SEO focus.

  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Proficient in data analysis, comfortable with tools like Google Analytics, Data Studio, and Looker. Capable of making decisions based on quantitative and qualitative insights.

  • Problem-Solver: Strong first-principles thinking, capable of understanding user pain points and solving them through innovative SEO strategies.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Agility: Familiarity with agile methodologies, sprints, and iterative development cycles.

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Thrives in fast-paced environments with minimal management and a strong sense of ownership.
