THE POSITION
As a Senior SEO Associate at Porch Group, you will support the execution of SEO strategies across multiple brands. Working closely with Editorial, UX, Creative, and Engineering teams, you will help improve our organic search presence. Your role includes conducting keyword research, analyzing search trends, assisting with on-page optimizations, and tracking SEO performance through dashboards and reports. You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, test new strategies, and develop your skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU DO
Assist in implementing on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and brand visibility.
Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities that support content strategy and improve search rankings.
Analyze organic search data to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities.
Work with Editorial and UX teams to optimize content for search engines and user experience.
Track and report on SEO performance through dashboards and regular reports using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
Monitor competitor activity and search engine algorithm updates to stay informed and make proactive recommendations.
Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align SEO efforts with business goals.
Contribute to testing and experimenting with new SEO tactics and strategies.

WHAT YOU BRING:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of experience in SEO, preferably in a content-driven environment.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting marketing performance data.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
Basic knowledge of HTML and an understanding of on-page SEO best practices.
Proficiency with data tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and Looker/Looker Studio.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Editorial, UX, and Engineering.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, curious mindset and a desire to learn and grow within the SEO field.
Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.
Equipment: a laptop (or a desktop computer) and an internet connection that meet our minimum requirements.
