Bold Orange is seeking a proactive, strategic, and customer-centered Senior SEO Strategist to join the digital experience strategy team. As a member of Bold Orange’s SEO team, you can expect to guide SEO project strategies through innovative tactics and collaborative research. The ideal candidate, thinks outside the box to deliver “And Then Some” for our clients and unite best-in-class digital strategy with the latest SEO and content strategy best practices. As a future-focused agency, Bold Orange needs talent who are endlessly curious about how to increase brand visibility on the web, including – but not limited to – showing innovative approaches for applying AI, adapting to Google algorithm shifts, and showing impact in other areas of search such as social and retail networks. Your experience should come from working in agency and/or in-house teams where you supported growth wherever it is relevant for customers to find brands through proving the business value of SEO.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Able to lead projects, define what’s next, and drive innovative campaign delivery
  • Leverage your SEO prowess and experience to shape strategies and drive results for SEO projects for all types of clients. You may be asked to be an individual contributor as well as to delegate and distribute work among SEO strategists and other team members
  • Identify and create presentation content and slideware with guidance. Stories will require data-centric insights, competitive intelligence, and strategic direction in an easy-to-understand way to client audiences at the manager, director, and executive levels
  • Nurture and expand collaboration between experience strategy, creative, media, analytics and client strategy teams to enhance immediate project delivery quality and long-term client success
  • Anticipates needs of the team and can rally other team members to support
  • Actively participates in and sometimes leads internal team meetings
  • Show a deep understanding of client business problems and be able to show why SEO strategies – technical or content-based – will impact their businesses with financial and strategic benefits
  • Contribute to thought leadership materials, identify industry trends, and share findings internally as well as with clients.
  • Author technical documentation, analytical research, and campaign strategies
  • Negotiate project changes and navigate challenges
  • Monitor and proactively report on best practices and overall market trends
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years relevant work experience consulting on SEO and digital strategy for medium to large businesses
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to guide data and reporting and provide summaries and insights to the client
  • Ability to collaborate, plan and prioritize to manage project workload effectively and efficiently
  • Passion for monitoring SEO industry news and best practices (such as using new tools, algorithm updates, and analysis methods), creating POV documentation, and communicating them clearly to teams and clients
  • Passion for learning the client’s business and how search affects its brands across owned and influenced properties
  • Strong storytelling and overall PowerPoint presentation skills: You should be able to tell a story through your presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to diplomatically handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced creative environment with a “can-do” attitude that inspires teams and clients
  • Leadership skills and the desire to mentor
  • Desire to always be learning and growing
