We are seeking an experienced Link Building Manager to lead and support our team of link builders in delivering high-quality, impactful backlink strategies that drive client success. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing performance-driven teams, excellent knowledge of SEO link-building best practices, and a strong ability to maintain high standards under fast-paced conditions.

As a Link Building Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage a team of link builders, ensuring the timely delivery of backlink strategies aligned with client goals. Define and track team KPIs to monitor performance.
• Ensure link quality and compliance with SEO best practices; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance team efficiency, output quality, and engagement.
• Manage client relationships and address escalations to maintain alignment with expectations and campaign success.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with link vendors to optimise performance, cost, and workflow.
• Guide the team on link sourcing, outreach, and placement across relevant, high-authority platforms.
• Oversee day-to-day workflow, task prioritisation, and quality control of all link-building deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement across team processes, systems, and skills.
• Work closely with SEO Strategists and Project Managers to ensure seamless campaign execution.
• Regularly evaluate our competitive position and identify new market opportunities in the link-building space.

Requirements:

• A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a relevant discipline
• Proven experience managing link-building teams or related SEO-focused roles
• Deep understanding of backlink strategies, link quality metrics, and off-page SEO
• Strong data skills and experience using Google Sheets for reporting, analysis, and cost tracking
• Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
• Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and Google Suite
• A results-oriented mindset with a drive to innovate and improve performance
• Proven success in stakeholder and client management
• Experience using AI and automation tools to improve productivity and link building operations
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be willing to work in AEST timezone
• While this is a remote role, candidates located in the Philippines will be prioritized
